Carlucci's Pizzeria - Powell

The hype is really the best Stromboli I ever had!!! Pizza is also great. Crispy crust, not burned, not mushy in the middle. Will definitely be back!! But wow, this Stromboli!

Trying a new pizza place is scary when you go to places you like. But Carluccis was one of the best choices I needed for my pizza. My family and I love the Stromboli. We start trying other things on the menu, but the Stromboli can't beat. I recommend trying. Promise you're getting caught.

Just SCRUMPTIOUS! Friendly staff... best ranch on this planet. 10/10 would eat again every night!

I ordered a couple of subs from them recently and let me tell you, it was a wonderful experience to eat them. We all have different tastes, so I will not go in to what I had specifically (Meatball Sub and Big Pun(isher)..... I hung out in the shop to wait for the order (20 25 minutes they told me) and I played horrible golf on the Golden Tee Game they had set up in the corner. I would have rated Carlucci's 6 stars, but the game volume is too loud so everyone in the building heard how bad I sucked at the game. Another thing I noticed is that the place is being ran by an older gentleman basically keeping a bunch of younger employees on deck to make it happen (think late teens to early 20 somethings). He runs a tight ship and I get the impression that this is a real positive learning experience for the kids working there. I did 8 years in the Army and I know tough love when I see it. Anyways, this place is the embodiment of a great local small business and I will probably become fatter for feeling this way, but I will be back. I really like this place a lot....
