Brecon Kebab House - Powys

This restaurant was absolutely terrible! My partner and I ordered a large kebab to share and were extremely disappointed. The customer service was awful from the start. We noticed there was hardly any donner meat and we were missing pitta bread. We paid £12.50 for the meal and were told extra sauces would cost an additional £1.50. When I brought the meal back, the staff were rude and accused me of lying about not eating much of the meal. They were abusive and even called the police on me. Despite their intimidation, I stood my ground and eventually the police arrived. The workers eventually offered to replace the meal, but at that point I had lost all appetite for anything from that place. We took the food home and ended up getting food poisoning the next morning. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant as my partner and I had a terrible experience there. Avoid this place at all costs!

Who says kebabs are only for after a boozy night out. The kebabs here are fantastic. My only criticism would be the polystyrene pots for chips mean they are soggy by the time you get to eat them. Would prefer them just wrapped in paper. But this doesn’t detract from the friendly service and good food.

Ordered 'cod ' and chips which had to be cooked to order. Took ages. The cod was NOT cod but a grey, wet, salty fish and chips tasted and looked old and were very dry. I would never use this eatery again.

We have visited this eatery on a number of occasions and the staff has always been really helpful. I and my partner have tried most on the menu but I think the sish kebab is the nicest

Have been a regular here for 12 years and have to say unlike most I visit this venue sober. Staff are always friendly. Food is good value and great tasting. Am usually a doner fan but have had chicken burger too. My only disappointment would be the polystyrene packaging makes the chips soggy. Much better eaten open, maybe abandon the lidded pots for perfect crispy chips.
