I had a coffee with soy milk and a delicious and not too sweet but yet moist tomato-banana-bread. Sounded weird to me first (tomato in a cake?! but then I thought about carrot cake and beetroot cake and zucchini bread and decided to give it a try. And I'm glad I was! This cake was the best vegan cake I had in my two weeks of traveling in Poland. I even took one to go with me to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. After strolling through the beautiful city centre of Poznán I decided to go back to this hidden gem for another break. The owner recognised me, we started chatting and in the end she gave me advice on where to go and what to see in Poznán. Super helpful advice indeed, thanks for that! Also she whipped me up some toasted vegan cheese sandwich which was simple yet super delicious and a great value for money, too! As unfortunately I do not speak Polish I was not able to understand the menu on the chalkboard and given that I was super happy with my choice of vegan cheese toast I didn't inquire about any further vegan food options. However I'm pretty sure everyone will find something as the owner (and her partner(? /her staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable and to not letting you leave hungry ; I highly recommend it and am really sad that this cute café is not in Stuttgart where I live ; Updated from previous review on 2020-08-30
A must not just for fans of “friends”. the interiors are adorable with hints from the tv show hidden all around. staff is very friendly, helpful and inviting. overall i would rank it as one of the top places to visit in poznan. would rate 5 stars but it’s impossible for not fully-vegan places.
