Tado Take Away - Pratteln

Extremely hungry and also very thirsty after a long day out and about with the football. Had a great chat with the owner, a friendly man from Kurdistan, he was good craic and very welcoming.Ordered a doner kebab, which is what one needs after a long day, and a few cans of beer.Sat down at back and enjoyed the cold beers and the kebab which tasted fantastic. Very good, and someday will be back....

Sehr freundliches Personal, Top Essen und schönes Lokal. Gute Lage, nahe an ÖV Verbindungen richtung Basel.

Our family of 5 were passing through Basel on our way to and from Italy (14/08/20 and 20/08/20). Staying at an Ibis hotel in Pratteln.We were looking for something cheap and cheerful (and not McDonalds). This place popped up on google maps and was a 10 minute walk away.They have 6 tables outside and several more indoors. Although at first glance this is a kebab shop with a counter, it’s a table service restaurant. Family run, mum and dad do most of the cooking and son (who speaks perfect English), does everything else.Drinks are help yourself with usual cans and a few tins of beer. They’ve got some Turkish beer on tap but didn’t try it.There’s a variety of pizzas, peids, kebabs and salads, even some vegetarian options (falafel etc). Their chicken kebab is so good, I ordered it twice!It’s located right by the tram stop and Pratteln station, so should be easy to get into central Basel if needs be.Super friendly service and good affordable food. Auf jeden Fall eine Bereicherung für die Region. Das Essen ist super lecker und es gibt einige Raritäten wir beispielsweise Kebab mit Spiegelei. Ich hoffe, dass irgendwann endlich noch türkische Köftes anstatt Cevapcici auf die Menükarte kommen.

Wir sind schon zum zweiten Mal hier und lieben das Essen. Der Service ist mega toll, ist wirklich zu empfehlen
