Y'all don't wanna know half of what I've seen back in that kitchen. Burger patties sit out in the open as well as orders sit in the window forever. People use bare hands for the noodles. Drop food and put it back into the plate and serve it. It LOOKS great. But when you've worked there you see the nasty side. Workers gossip about customers on a daily basis. Owner gets some of her bread from the interfaith rescue right by her restaurant and sells it to the customers.
Just a local restaurant that serves Southern food and Pizza also. Decent atmosphere in that it has an old Coca-Cola sign that's painted on one of the walls. Other than that it's pretty plain. But the people are friendly
Waited about 20 minutes for the server once seated. I will say that is unusual, but it wasn't even busy yet. The owner finally asked if we had ordered sent the server our way. Parking: Downtown so parking can be tricky at times.
This was my first time eating here with my family. I was so excited to try the chicken and dressing but my chicken was cold and hard to chew and the dressing was sour the gravy on it was also sour.. the cranberry sauce was not sweet it tasted like vinegar..also the mash potatoes I ordered tasted like someone added cold water to them to have extra so they wouldn’t run out... in other words my potato’s were cold. And not cooked all the way it tasted like someone put potatoes in a pot and added cold water and no butter… and served it to me.. I was very upset I didn’t ask for any more food because I had such a disappointment on almost all my food..the macaroni and cheese was very good.: I don’t know if I’ll be back..if you go get the macaroni and cheese it was good.: other than that my meal wasn’t good..Cindy’s cafe needs to do better about the temperature of their food I pray I don’t get sick.
