Contribuisci feedbackMy husband and I visited this restaurant for my birthday, and it was surprisingly quiet when we arrived around 4:45 PM. We had a personal chef, as it was just the two of us at the table. While the chef seemed to enjoy using butter in the dishes, which made them a bit too greasy for my liking, they did have a nice flavor. On the plus side, the wine was excellent. However, I probably wouldn’t return.
The food was cooked to perfection, though our chef made a point of sharing how great he used to be. Our waiter was largely absent until it came time to present the checks, and getting refills was quite a struggle. That said, the filet and lobster were outstanding! We plan to give it another shot, hoping for a more attentive waiter and fewer kids at nearby tables absorbed in their tablets and phones. I recognize that this may come off as a bit snobby from empty nesters, but it's an honest sentiment.
The service here is consistently excellent, and the food is outstanding. The only downside is that I wish I had a bigger appetite!
I have had both hibachi and sushi and by far this is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the River Region. Excellent service and the food is always fresh and delicious.
First time here. Son wanted to come here for his birthday. Had our meal from the habotchi. Very friendly staff and good food cooked right in front of you. Didn't care to much for the sushi my son got.
