Contribuisci feedbackBig restaurant in city center that takes great care of beer culture. The space is also suitable for big events. Food is delicious, but portions are rather small. Everything I tried was very tasty. If you are in mood for classic czech food and Pilsen beer, you should visit Švejk.
Very unfriendly staff. We were there quite early in the day, too early to drink beer for us, so we asked for coffee and tea. The waiter rolled his eyes at us and said We are a pub, not a tea house , and slammed our cups on the table when our orders arrived. Not a single friendly word from him. Sorry we ordered something that is written in the menu...
This was my first time having a traditional Czech meal, it was interesting and surprisingly inexpensive. The flavors were very rich and the portion was large, I really enjoyed it. The waitress was sweet and helpful, but the male bartender was a bit rude. He damn near threw our beers down on the table, and acted like we had no business being there.
Was ok. If you want to taste real local cuisine drive 25km outside of town.
We tried to ask for a table for two to eat but the staff pushed us to go to the beer garden in the back. We were looking for a nice relaxing place to dine which the staff didnt seem to understand. Ended up leaving …
