I made a sandwich out of it and it blended together so nicely for a very healthy meal. To top it off, a musician came in to play the old piano and almost made my husband cry he was so good. My husband gave him a great tip.
Nice place for breakfast! They have a nice rooftop where you can see the mountains. Good vibe! Seems like a nice place to go and work for a while.
Definitely give a call or make sure the menu you are interested in having is being served when you go. They only serve brunch on Sunday, no dinner menu. The food was great! Everything was well seasoned and fresh.Service wise, it's a walk up and order. So no one is really touching in or offering anything. We did have a great chat with a pastry chef. Really friendly and excited about what she's doing. So a cool little interaction there.
If you're looking to be disappointed, this isn't the place for you.Edit: Some time and many visits to Raven have come and gone since my last letter. This place is still awesome. Staff, food/drink, vibe... All on point. Consistently.
The line to order was long, and the wait for food was long. However, the day we were there, they did let us know they were down a person in the kitchen and made sure we knew before sitting down we would be waiting awhile. They weren’t kidding! We waited about 45 minutes for our food (from the time we ordered to the time they brought us our food . I can say I am glad we waited (we had the time to wait ! The taste and presentation of the food was amazing, and my dish was filling! It left me in that sweet spot where I could have had more, but was completely satisfied. My husband got a burger and I got the Thai Chicken (spicy! . All the staff we encountered were kind and upbeat, great service! It has a very cool cafe vibe, and I enjoyed the upbeat music from the speakers throughout the cafe. We had lunch, so we were not there for the live music, but I’m sure it would be a great time. We are not drinkers so we just had the water they have available in the dining area. For food and atmosphere, I would definitely recommend! Dietary restrictions: It seems to be a more common practice to have gf, df, vg items, and Raven Cafe is no exception. The items are clearly visible on the menu, and there were a few options for each, but what I enjoyed most was I didn’t have to just get a salad in order to be gluten free. I was able to order a beautifully presented gluten free dish with some substance. Highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: We didn’t have our teens with us when we went, but we saw many families of all sizes with a varying range of kids’ ages. I am unaware of a kid’s menu. Wheelchair accessibility: On the main level, in the dining area, there is a ramp down to the restrooms. (Restrooms are single rooms, and spacious
