Backburner Family - Prescott Valley

Our waitress Lisa was so kind and attentive to each of our orders. The food was amazing and we had nice conversations with Lisa as she took our orders and delivered them when they were ready. AAA service!!! One of the many reasons why Blackburn is ourfavorite place to go.

The service was fine. The food was nothing to write home about. I had the Farm Boy omelet, the eggs were runny, and onions were undercooked. The hash browns were cold and soggy. Absolutely NO gluten free options available. I didn't realize it was sodifficult to carry something as simple as GF toast. Especially considering how large the GF community in Yavapai county is.

First time here and feeling conflicted. The good...nice atmosphere and clean. The bad...Our server had one of those business smiles, so not overly as warm as you would hope. Took the order and another employee delivered the food. Never checked on us forrefills or issues. He spent most of the time filling condiments on the tables around us and could have taken a moment tofollow-up but didn't. Now the food. My wife ordered the Cheeseburger and really enjoyed her meal. I ordered the Philly Steaksandwich and was very disappointed. I really had an issue with what was advertised and what I received. Supposed to be 1/2 lb ofsteak but as you will see from the picture it obviously wasn't close to that. Although the roll was soft the meat was very dry.Not Death Valley dry but might have passed through the area recently. Onion rings were ok and my wife's fries were tasty. I'mconflicted because it seems more likely to be a fluke on my dish and I'd consider a return visit but definitely won't riskanother Philly here. Colt BBQ in town has perfected that and I'll go there for this sandwich going forward. I hope the staffmakes more of an effort on follow through with the service. I'll do another review if I return.

We had breakfast here. It was so good! I had biscuits and gravy, one person had the ham steak and eggs and the ham steak was huge! We also ordered the cinnamon roll which was yummy delicious. We brought our dog and sat out on their real cool coveredpatio. I wish I would have gotten our waitresses name, she was so sweet and gave us really good ,fast and efficient service. Ourfriends that live close come here often, we will be back next time we are in town. I think you should try it!!
