A year ago I'd have given this place 5/5. Really friendly and very customer-focused eg they'd offer to make you up your own sandwich if there wasn't one on display that you fancied. What a recent decline. Go there at one pm and you'll be lucky if there's any sandwiches left at all!! That sandwich-making notice has gone too. Service now is ok, average but certainly no wow factor. It's hard to call it a lunch venue when there's only cakes a available after 1pm. The cakes ar eok and the coffee is good and cheap. Great location as well. Alas, what was and what might have beanQ
Popped into the coffee shop today after visiting the museum. The location of the café was excellent: right in the centre of the museum. I loved the eclectic mix of chairs and the friendly service. There was a small selection of cakes. The coffee (a latte), however, was quite bitter and not to my taste.
Another great meal at the Bean Good Café great chicken and mash, excellent value at 3 quid. Visit here for the best coffee in Oldham. Adele and her super team of volunteers have good value great tasting food nailed. The desserts are always great and you get a card to pass a free meal to someone who needs it when you pay. What's not to love about this great cafe
Great cafe wholesome food served up with a brew and a pudd if you fancy. Adele and the volunteers are fantastic and make you feel very welcome. It's a great space for meetings and the donation concept works well meaning you can pass a dinner on for those who need it. Will be back :
