The Italian Orchard - Preston

I have been eating at this amazing place for over 30 years and yet this year as many times I went I felt the food lacking it’s flavours and presentation! Staff were not friendly as they usually are and we had to keep looking for our waiter to serve us drinks and then waited over an hour after our not so good meal for dessert order to be taken! We had to get up to get the attention of Ken waiter who was serving the table next to us! Very disappointed with food and service

The food and service at this restaurant receive top marks, and the surroundings are simply stunning. The bar extension is particularly impressive. The fact that it was busy on a Wednesday lunchtime is a testament to its popularity.

The Italian Orchard in Preston offers a mixed dining experience. First, the location is convenient and easy to find, but the single road leading to the restaurant could use some maintenance, with a few potholes making the journey a bit bumpy, and when it comes to parking, there's plenty of space outside, which is always a plus. On the positive side, the drinks bar has recently been refurbished and provides a lovely ambiance for relaxation. However, I must say that the restaurant area itself feels a bit dated and could use some renovations. It lacks the charm found in more modern establishments. The menu is extensive, offering a wide range of options. While the variety is great, the pizza, which I tried, was just okay. Given the price point, I expected something of higher quality or more exceptional taste. Where The Italian Orchard truly shines is in its desserts. They are absolutely incredible and worth trying, especially the Oreo Sundae. The staff and service were commendable, adding to the overall positive aspects of the dining experience.

The toilets were very clean except the handryers take to long to do the job.they should be warmer i am a handdrying expert.the seats are very clean

Brilliant, everything 1st class as always. We booked to go after disaster the previous weekend at a different restaurant who lost our order. It was certainly very nice to be served by staff who new what they were doing. A very big Thank you.
