Vex Vegan Cookery - Preston

Closed, money taken for cooking classes and cancelled, not refunded. I had unfortunately experienced many people.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, and the woman named Mary is infamous for it! We had booked a party for our office as a gift, but were asked to pay a deposit. The party was cancelled, yet we never received a refund and were never offered a reschedule. After reading reviews on Facebook and other social media sites, it seems that this is a pattern for the woman in charge. Avoid this place at all costs!

I purchased a Vegan cooking class as a Christmas gift. The payment process was quick, but I had bad communication afterward and then no contact. Vex Vegan was also listed on a fundraising website for new companies (Kickstarter) but seems to have disappeared. I'm not sure if they are still in business, so be cautious when booking non-existent courses from them.

We went for lunch and the food was outstanding! We highly recommend the cheese and hotcake and the chocolate mousse with skyberry, whether you're vegan or not. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

We ate in after enjoying the takeaway food previously. As expected the food was fantastic, really tasty, great portion size and very good value. We had a course meal and drinks for Would highly recommend! Both the setting and service were really quirky,...we loved it, added to the whole experience. Gorgeous place full of character really added to the experience.
