The waiter (who had as much English as we German) was very helpful, pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent and very reasonable. We returned for drinks after another walk the next day, but they were closed on Monday night.
We've been driving from this place for many years, but we didn't take the time to try it. You will enter through a short drive that is about 300 meters long and end up in a pretty little valley. When we came out of our car, we seemed like we were really out of the country, but we are near the center of the city. The topic for the patron is the target shooting. Protection clubs were popular throughout Germany and we see some where we live in Texas. The shooting targets we saw on the walls were all hand-painted pictures of individuals or scenes or still life images. The restaurant offers a complete menu. I chose Wiener Schnitzel with bratkartoffeln and my wife chose a fish pike. We were very happy with our dinner
The place is hidden in a valley but the usual route. The place is cozy and inside definitely fits the name. The service was good. Waiting after the food order was long, but the food is really delicious and good. Nothing beautiful, but really honest Bavarian farewell. There sat with the family several times and everyone really had a great and pleasant time. The prices are very good. Definitely a place to return.
A simple guest house/restaurant in a green valley, about 1000 m from the centre of Prien. It is also close to cycle paths and a beautiful stream. We spent a few evenings there, with a beautiful white beer and some simple dishes (scarves, goulash etc.), while our two children play happily in the sandbox. High;y recommended for a beautiful family evening in the late afternoon sunshine.
