This is a quaint, little ice cream parlor and deli tucked in the back corner of a local gas station. It's a tad rough around the edges with just the right amount of small-town vibe. (They can answer questions about huckleberries and puppies, too. The red and white theme is timeless, and the ice cream is delicious.
After 34 years of stopping there on our way to Priest Lake, I'm finished with Mac's. I stopped to get a cup of coffee and it was lukewarm. I was willing to warm it up, but the microwave had no power. The guy at the counter said it may be unplugged. I looked behind it, it was plugged in, but the power strip had no power. He made no effort to come look at it but said he would tell the owner. I thought he was going to try and make me pay for it, but I refused and walked out FOR THE LAST TIME.
The older lady is wonderful. The younger gal in her 30-40's is just rude.
Food is always great, price is hard to beat, lots to choose from on the menu.
