Well, I came with the expectations of very poor. I was recommended to come here to experience burgers that people I know are very fond of. When I showed up it was during the semi noon lunch period. It took a few minutes to be seated as they did not have a clean table. Other then that we were seated and we were served by Erik, our server. He was very pleasant and good at his job. The food was okay at best, it was underwhelming in comparison to what I heard. They do not do Sautéed mushrooms well. However, they do offer endless varieties of specific foods such as fries, dips. All the dips are absolutely magnificent and of very high quality. The basic fries were run of the mill. In conclusion, I would recommend coming here if you want casual foods and or a burger fanatic. Otherwise you won't be missing out on much. Service for the type of restaurant, it was good. 4/5 Decor very subjective. I liked it. 4/5 Food the biggest weakness for Red Robbins is that it was just OK. 2.5/5
The front guy was kind, professional and helpful. the server on the other hand was inattentive and moody, which idk what she's going through but it would have been nice to have gotten the vinegar in the beginning of my meal rather than more then half way through. the cutlery was greasy and covered in water spots, when I asked for another set I was given less greasy but still unpolished-water spotted cutlery. there was no salt pepper shakers on the table. the cod fish and chips were bland, the batter was crunchy on the outside but pasty on the inside. I've noticed the quality in red robin going down drastically in the last year. I hope to see it improve
Let me have this. Each critic gets at least one freebie--something against the grain they 're allowed to enjoy despite either common sense or admitted hypocrisy given the pattern of past reviews. Relating to movies, it 's the bad flick we take as an indulgence, whether it be Buckaroo Banzai, Donnie Darko, or Stealth (what, I like Stealth). With restaurants, it 's that one franchise or chain you sneak off to and enjoy hidden unconvincingly behind a menu like a Dungeon Master cheating dice behind a screen. I like Red Robin. There 's controversy in that statement, I 'm well aware, but when I want a burger and when overcome by a desire to eat under a flying saucer dogfighting a WWII fighter plane, this is where I go. Red Robin, yeah I know, where 's the quality in that? A shocking revelation, but let me defend my point before you discount it. Let 's put aside the oddball décor and whether it does or does not work. Each time I visit our local spot, I 'm attended to by some of nicest, most energetic people I 've ever encountered. My last one could charge up a Tesla Model S with that much energy. I 've sampled numerous appetizers from pub grub pretzel bites to more upscale bruschetta, and each has scored. Dinners have included a smoke and pepper burger as well as a grilled chicken burger, adding up to an excessive amount of food for a reasonable price. And it was good, not just for the price, but actually good. From the perfect toasting on the bruschetta to the bottomless steak fries kicked up a notch by seasoning salt sprinkled from a shaker looming over lesser condiments, I enjoy Red Robin. I feel like I should be standing in front of a support group when I say that. Everyone, let 's thank Chris for sharing himself with us. Nobody should be ashamed about eating at Red Robin. I even love the décor with its clashing craziness. I 've heard accusations of sexism and shoddy culinary hygiene, but I 've not seen fire from that smoke, and far more successful places have survived worse. When comparing them to other like franchises, I admit placing Red Robin upon a higher stratum...though not that much higher. I remember a conversation my best friend and I had comparing his car to a friend 's, claiming his wasn 't that much better, but it was. That 's ultimately my review of Red Robin--It 's isn 't that much better than Mr. Mikes, Boston Pizza, or Applebee 's, but it is. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Presentation: 3/5 Value: 4/5 Recommendation: 4/5
Red Robin is amazing overall and this location included. Be warned that the Scorpion Burger is not actually all that spicy for spice lovers. Still a delicious burger though. I'll also mention my yam fries were steaming hot when they arrived
