Pho 88 - Prince Rupert

My friend just showed me #33. I'm coming to try my own today!

I am puzzled by the numerous positive reviews this restaurant has received. I suppose for a small town, it is satisfactory. However, being Vietnamese myself and coming from Toronto, I was unimpressed.

I was impressed to find pho available in town. The best part was that it was delicious. I came with a group of five people and ordered the number 15...

We had heard wonderful things about Pho 88 and it wasn't disappointed. The spicy Pho was tasteful and full and the seafood pho was fresh and swimming with options. A few people from our group went back the next day for two rounds before... the PR lost. Prices are very low for the quantity and quality of food I ordered a large bowl that was enough for lunch and take home for dinner This will certainly be a way for the next time in Rupert.

Pho-88 is a beautiful Vietnamese restaurant on 3rd Avenue in Prince Rupert. They have simple furniture and decor with some artificial flowers and Vietnamese pictures decorating the walls. We tried her Stir Fried Shrimp and Squid on Rice, and a cheese burger with French...Fries and both tasted good and the quantities were considerable. Service was friendly and accommodating. The prices were reasonable. We would have visited again if we had stayed longer in Prince Rupert.
