It seems to be the same old chain that is great if you want predictability. Not really satisfying food... we would have gone Timmys over the street if the ride thru line was shorter.
We went here for a light brunch before we went over our day. The place already had some people and looks pretty busy. The staff looked like they knew what they did and was quick and polite to get orders. We ordered a half of...Meatball Marinara and the Smoky Honey Mustard Chicken Ciabatta. Freshly made and roasted, both sandwiches were pretty full. We also enjoyed the flavors that they packed. It was a short visit, but we would come back to try their other selections.
The subway was one of the few restaurants in Prince Rupert, open early at 8 a.m. On our first day in the city we made a morning walk in the city center looking for a breakfast place, but most of the places were closed until we... found subway. It is also one of the few restaurants where you can buy a vegetarian meal. We ordered a foot long vegetarian sub and enjoyed it for breakfast. The regular subs with ham, chicken and tuna were also available, as well as an egg-sub popular at breakfast time. We had a pack of fruit juice to clear our thirst and pack some chocolate cookies. The subs are also very fillable and easy on the bag. We sat in the restaurant and enjoyed the ambience.
After 2 weeks on the sea with good bread was like coming in heaven. We choose different types of sub and they were very good. The staff is friendly and clean
Service was very good. Only comment is that in a place that has tons of people looking to take a lunch out fishing why does this subway open so late. We had to get sandwiches night before and leave out tomatoes and most sauces so...it wouldn’t be soggy for lunch.
