Mountain Barn Restaurant - Princeton

From start to finish, an understatement would be an understatement for this restaurant. Expecting a standard dining experience, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. It's rare to find such exceptional service combined with gourmet food. I had the apple and sauce Stuffed Chicken, which exceeded my expectations in taste. I also sampled my friend's Haddock, which was perfectly seasoned. The chef really knows what they're doing, as there was no need for extra salt or pepper. Bravo to the chef! I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant. It was truly the best dining experience I have ever had. The decor throughout the building is also worth mentioning. Well done!

I have not been there recently, but I had a good experience a few years ago. I ordered a 16-oz prime rib but it seemed smaller, more like a 10oz. I brought it to their attention and they promptly gave me a new one.

The kitchen was a bit slow, but our meals were definitely worth the wait. I ordered the Scallops Alfredo and they were cooked to perfection. The Alfredo sauce was one of the best I've ever had. The portions were huge and I ended up taking more than half of my meal home. Make sure to arrive early as this place gets crowded and be prepared to wait in line.
