We had bulalo and sinigang na hipon for dinner. The bulalo was delicious, but the sinigang na hipon was very disappointing. The shrimp was not fresh and had a black color on its head and body.
This review is for Bulalo World in SM Muntinlupa. When they first opened in 2017, we loved dining there. The bulalo was really delicious and the crispy tawilis was fantastic. However, when we recently visited for lunch, we were disappointed. The tawilis was not as crispy as before, it seemed more reheated. The bulalo meal did not have any bulalo in it, making it feel overpriced compared to what you can get at a nearby carinderia for 35 to 50 pesos. I miss the quality they had when they first opened. The picture I posted is from last year because there was no bulalo to photograph during our recent visit. The broth also lacked the delicacy and flavor it used to have, resembling something you could buy for less than 50 pesos. I hope they can live up to their name, Bulalo World, and start serving a real bulalo again.
It is better to eat in turo-turo. the quantity for the bulalo at 177 php is as if they were stratifying a 5 grams of meat. do not eat here budget friendly
Ambiance was ok but the space is limited. Me and my friend wants to sit at their bahay kubo but everything was occupied that time. Bulalo was great but they should cut the beef in cubes not in strips. Fresh lumpia tasted good but first...time I saw an scrambled egg in fresh lumpia. Their pansit taste really bad, they should improve the way they cook pancit. It was overcook and too watery. Credit to them tawilis was perfect but overpriced.
