Great Tea Road Co - Prior Lake

Not only are their teas great, the customer service is excellent. I saw them at the PL Farmer's Market when I was visiting MN and enjoyed the Almond Caramel tea so much. I order monthly refills online to have shipped to me now. Titima has been so helpful, always giving great recommendations! Wonderful people and really great quality of products.

This is tiny little shop in Prior Lake. As the adage goes, BIG things come in small packages! I am in love with this place! All of the blends are arranged on one wall, sorted by the type of tea the blend contains. Each blend sits in a small labeled jar that you can pop the lid off of to smell the blend. Such an intoxicating mix of aromas!It was a pleasure talking to the lady that owns the store. She sources all of the tea herself and makes all of her own blends. She doesn’t just sell tea, she lives tea! Her passion for her craft shines through, and while I can not say that her end product is without equal, I can definitely say I have not found anything better. I recommend the Belgian chocolate black tea blend. Some sweetener and milk added to the poured cup and I am over the moon!

The husband wife owners here are the sweetest! I could chit chat with them about tea for hours each time! Do ask them about their travels to Asia to source the tea!People aside, I purchase GTR’s tea samples every week to try at affordable prices and then replenish my favorites: Dragon Pearl Green Tea and Lychee Black Tea!

Awesome local tea shop. It’s legit—there’s no brand name teas here. Everything is packaged there and the owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Do not buy tea anywhere else! Come here.
