This stand at Mercado is a great experience for someone who likes roasted meat. Cochinita is a court where the Yucatecas are excellent, and this place probably makes it better than anyone. Do not expect the really low prices you see in the Taco joints, even large portions. But the taste is something I have never experienced before.

That's the best pig I've ever eaten. No luxury, but incredible food and service. I always take it to go, and I make sure everyone who visits me has the opportunity. to taste this extraordinary food.

One of the places we eat on the market was there often. The most tasty tasteful pork, like pulled pork, but roasted in banana leaves under the fire. They are fast and cheap and friendly. It is a local favorite

Great place where locals buy fresh fruit, vegetables, seafood, clothing, flowers etc. It is worth going, even if you don't buy anything.

This place looks almost like the cochinita version of McDonalds in that they have an entire system in place to make the service much more professional than the usual street corner piggie place. It is also much cleaner! And it's cheap.
