Arata Sushi - Prospect

The service was friendly, and our server was extremely patient, taking the time to answer all our questions. The food was delicious!

The experience was quite generic. The sushi rice was unremarkable, and the tea lacked flavor and strength. While the staff were friendly, I don’t think I would return.

I am really disappointed by our experience on this place. Close to our house my man and I went on a date night to celebrate my 40th birthday. there were only 3 tabs and one server. it took 25 minutes until he came by and took our drinks orders. he seemed to care more about the execution of appetizers than waiting for the guests in the restaurant. When we finally got our sushi, it was good. when our sushi came, the sushi was more expensive than the menu prices. a roll was $4 more than advertised. when I said something to the server, he said, "Oh my bad, I should say tables, our prices went up." I understand that they need to increase their prices, but fix their menu in front of their POS system.

Under mew management and ownership and things are improving. Great to have a good sushi restaurant in Prospect.

Really great spot. Beautiful venue with design by Dennis Tapp. Food is very fresh and always great quality. Sauces are some of the best we have had. Hot food is great as well. Always wonderful service. Amazing locally owned spot in Prospect. Don't let the exterior fool you.
