I remembered having delicious fish and chips there before, so we decided to give it another try. The fish was fresh, although not as crispy as I remembered. The onion rings were fantastic and seemed to be a popular choice among the other diners. Despite the large crowd, the service was efficient. Overall, while it may not have lived up to my previous experience, I would still recommend this place for a basic fish and chips meal.
The chips were hot, the fish tasted mainly like dough. The terrace had to be wiped a bit. Tables were still wet from rain and some were dirty. Not a place I would return to, but not terrible.
My husband and I share the 2 pieces of white fish and chips as well as onion rings. Everything was good fried and was delicious! Onion rings were seasoned, just right that it needed nothing else. The dough on the fish was right, not too... thick. And because the fish was fresh and immediately after serving, it was very good. The best fish and chips we had, because we don't have to eat it compared to fish and chips on the Halibut House chain. Very recommended and we would definitely go back when we're back in the area.
A delicious lunch, location and service! We had the squids, white fish and chicken fingers and all were great. We will not hesitate to return for another wonderful outing.
Delicious fish and chips cooked perfectly. The homemade tartar sauce was outstanding. The service was friendly and the location was convenient.
