Than when I told her what I would order, she seemed annoyed for some reason. Also, when she gave me the food, I asked for if they had chopsticks (I am more used to using chopstick than fork). She responded by waving her finger, and it felt as if she was mocking me. If she is the manager of the place I hope she gets changed and if she is a employee here, I hope the manager realizes that she is not a person to work for servicing other people and is fired.Secondly, the food wasn’t all that great either. The food was nowhere near compensating enough for the poor quality of the service. The quality of the food is probably similar or worse than other korean restaurants that are on this street. This is probably the first time I have made a review and it is because I hope nobody else experience this kind of service without a warning. It made me feel heavily disrespected as a customer and I am certain that others will feel in a similar way.
Mixed feelings about Soban. I've had the soft tofu beef stew countless times, but on several occasions the ingredients would be different or the soup would taste wrong. When it was right, it was great, but ordering it seemed like a coin flip. The service is something else. I've often ordered food, arrived at the pickup time, and had to wait 30 or so minutes; evidently they hadn't started making the simple order yet. To make matters worse, the lady who works at Soban creates an extremely unpleasant environment for the customers. She is rude, dismissive, and lazy. Uncleaned bowls and plates are also a common sight in Soban. Come here for the good Korean food, but don't expect a great time.
This had to have been one of the worst dining experiences. They brought us the wrong food, we took a bite, and the waitress came and said 'shhh ' and took the plate, put it back on her cart and delivered it to another table. We were shocked and unsure what to do. When our food finally came out, it was underwhelming and did not taste fresh. Will never go back.
This place has the best wings I have ever eaten. If you are in Providence and are looking for good chicken wings, eat here. You won't be dissapointed.
The worst restaurant I've ever ordered from. There used to be a really awesome guy running the place, but the woman currently running the restaurant is extremely rude (clapped at my friend's face to tell him to finish inputting his tip faster, harasses Snackpass orderers and shoos them out of the store). I ordered 16 pc boneless wings on Snackpass; I got my order and the woman personally saw me take my order without problem, but turns out my order only had 8 pieces of chicken in it.Another time I got bone-in wings that came out lukewarm; when I sent them back, I received wings again but they were the exact same wings microwaved!!! I knew this because I paid attention to a scallion that was untouched from its original position, so it was obvious that the woman took my lukewarm order and just put it in the microwave. Lastly, the scallion pancakes are extremely expensive, which would be fine if they were good, but they come in about 4 relatively-small slices that AREN'T COOKED!!!! The scallions were raw and the bread was pitiful. The only upside to Soban is that their chicken is phenomenal-tasting (though it may upset your stomach) along with some other items on their menu.Extremely disappointed by this place; it has ruined many nights for me and my friends and we've learned our mistake: as long as the woman is the person running the store, we will never order from this Soban location ever again,
