Dave's Coffee Co. - Providence

I visited this restaurant after seeing a recommendation for their coffee milk on the Food Network's website. That’s what brought me here, and it did not disappoint! The coffee milk is excellent! I’ve tried coffee milk outside of Rhode Island before, but it was overly sweet. Here, they have achieved the perfect balance of coffee and milk!

Coffee is very dark roast, which isn’t bad unless you prefer a lighter roast. Chai tea was very good but for $5 I expect it to be chai to the top, not an inch of air and and inch of foam. Bad form guys.

The coffee milk was a great experience! It’s close to water place park and something different than your average coffee drink.. we got soy milk version and I recommend checking it out!

The employees at this restaurant are fantastic! We arrived with a bulky baby car seat and were unsure about what to order, but they were incredibly accommodating and showed no signs of annoyance – they were so pleasant! The menu had a great variety, the coffee was well-balanced and rich, and the English muffin was toasted to perfection (they make them in-house, which is impressive!). My sister was so inspired by the spinach feta scone that she immediately started searching for recipes to recreate it. The egg was just a tiny bit dry, but that didn't ruin my experience. The carrot bacon was a wonderful complement!

I had an excellent vanilla latte here, and the espresso was outstanding as well. Their coffee is small-batch roasted, and you can really tell that they take pride in their craft. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about coffee. Their recommendation for a whole bean coffee to take home was perfect. I got the Blind Pig, and I’m so glad I did—it’s rich and smooth. It was roasted just five days before my purchase, making it worth every penny!
