L'artisan cafe and bakery - Providence

This café bakery is the perfect example of an amazing small business in RI! The staff is really nice and the bakery and other food options are plentiful! The atmosphere is nice They have indoor as well as outdoor seating! There is plenty of street parking (free and metered) outside/nearby. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! Do like my review if you find it useful!

Excellent place to go grab a salad/snack/sandwich and a coffee. I've had the lattes and the cappuccinos, which were both 10 out of 10 stars. The food options are vast, and everything is SO fresh. As you can see from my picture, the patio area is a very nice spot to hang out during the day.

I honestly thought the chai latte was atrocious. Sickeningly sweet and very watery. I couldn?t even eat the tiramisu, it had no coffee fragrance whatsoever. Ended up throwing everything out. Not sure how it?s rated so highly, maybe I took the wrong things. Also, everything came in a plastic container even though I sat there and not to go. The premises are nice, however. There is an outdoor seating area and the staff are friendly. I?ll give them that. Otherwise, I truly wishI saved my 12$ for something else.

They do not have a proper restroom. The bathroom is a porta potty and their wifi is horrible. Coffe is great! Take everything to go

Premium prices for bargain-bin pastries and bagels. There is nothing ?L-artsy? about the food, it?s dry and tasteless, literally no better than shaws-brand, but that doesn?t stop them from charging high prices as if it?s home made. I simply cannot believe the difference between what I paid versus what I got. Go to Seven Stars if you want an expensive cafe experience, or even go to Starbucks, at least those places will give you a pastry worthy of their price tag.
