P.f. Chang's - Providence

Food was ok. Not as good as past experiences. Beef and Broccoli very small and lots of white rice. Lettuce wraps were good. Restaurant was not busy for a Sunday night which is very unusual for this place.

Went to dinner at PF Changs with business associates. The service was wonderful as usual. The food was consistent with what I expected and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Nothing at PF Changs is inconsistent but there is nothing that Wows you either. They don't like changes or special requests for the menu but overall a good place for a business dinner.

Our server was excellent and very attentive. We ordered the appetizer brussels sprouts and edamame and enjoyed sharing them. They sushi was excellent.  The problem, as always is that the prices are high for what you get. Including this time my friend ordered a margarita with rocks on the side and was charged three dollars for the rocks! One could build a case that the ambience of the restaurant is worth the extra price. However, the bathroom had numerous paper towels on the floor and even the large “Buddha alcove@ was littered.  Mind you this was just late on a Tuesday afternoon. Inexcusable.

Disappointed! We had a later reservation and from the time we walked in, bad. It took about 8 minutes to even have someone acknowledge us. Once seated it took a long time to order. We ordered everything at once to make it easier. Everything came out at the same time no courses. One of the dishes was not what we ordered and we brought it to the servers attention and she told us the kitchen was closed so it couldn't be replaced but the best part was she still charged us for it. It was just bad, the dishes looked dirty. I hadn't been to a PF Cheung's in years and will likely NEVER go back to one. The dumplings were good, the rest was too much oil.

Bartender chatted with his friends for a solid 10 minutes before he brought over menus. The restaurant was literally empty maybe 2 or 3 tables were sat yet we waited 30 minutes for a table. Waiter/servers would come by and then disappear for an hour. Took forever to get our food and then our bill. Prices were too high for mediocre food and even worse service. Would not recommend. That's what you get for choosing a chain restaurant.
