Our waitress was exceptional and very friendly; she recommended a bottle of wine that matched our preferences perfectly. If you're in Providence, I highly suggest trying this restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
We had a delightful dinner of duck breast and wild mushroom crepes at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, and the host/owner made sure to visit each table, making our experience very enjoyable.
This restaurant has everything you could want. The French cuisine is exceptional, with a chef wearing a beret and mustache in the open kitchen preparing beautiful dishes. The onion soup, duck, and chicken livers are the best outside of Paris. The atmosphere is great, allowing for easy conversation. Mr. Burke is an excellent host. The best part is that you can truly relax and enjoy your meal. - Jill and Michael Thaler
This has been my favorite restaurant for 20 years, I got engaged there, and my most recent visit was the best yet. The owner, Bob, is the most incredible host, and the food is always wonderful. I live in Chicago, and every trip I make east has to be viaPVD so I can eat here. Pot au Feu is a gem that’s not to be missed.
Tried escargot for the first time....it was great. Not as I expected.... truly great.... The filet mignon was slightly over cooked but still a fantastic cut of meat. Bread should have been brought over with the water. Overall the food was deliciouswhich is what you would expect for the price of the meal. The zucchini was marinated in something that really complimented thefilet mignon. I don't know what the dipping sauce was for the filet mignon but it was tasty also. They need art orphotos....some kind of French decor.... besides staring at brick and a wall that needs to be repainted. Not an ADA compliantestablishment.
