After that thought dinner went downhill everyone that came in after us was served and left the restaurant before we’d even finished our food. We had gotten there with enough time to spare before our show, and we made it just barely for the curtain. Really disappointed by the lack of availability of staff, and concerned about being forgotten despite being literally in the middle of the walkway. (Also, table in the middle of the walkway... . The food was great, but it overall was really disappointing and stressful experience for us. The server was new, and when we’d asked about wine he didn’t know but also didn’t offer to direct us to anyone who could answer our questions. It felt really dismissive.
Loved it. I can't believe I waited so long to try it.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful the family that owns this restaurant is and the individuals who work there. We made 4 pm reservations for New Years Eve a month in advance. The owner called me to let me know they were closing at 5 pm on New Years Eve and realized that was not reflected through Open Table. He wanted to understand and ensure we had the experience we were hoping for. He kept our reservation, took our dinner orders in advance and kept the restaurant open until 6 p.m. The food is always exceptional and it was that night as well. Truly above and beyond service. They have been my favorite Greek restaurant in Providence, RI and this experience has simply reinforced that.
How delightful to arrive for lunch to find live music . A sax player doing holiday songs so lovely very relaxing and inciting. Our food was fantastic the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant . This is my 5th time at the restaurant it will not be my last.
Food is very good. Service was lacking. Understaffed and not well trained. Perfectly nice servers, but forgotten orders, lack of attentiveness, and loads of apologies. Yolenis should invest in training servers to handle busy evenings.
