The menu and service were great, but breakfast left much to be desired. The service was not as good when we were at another resort and not part of the Grace Bajo Club. Additionally, breakfast was a buffet and lacked value. Dinner was excellent, but breakfast was disappointing.
We reserved a place because we saw some vegan options on the menu that we wanted to try. We got there at 1pm only to find out that the dishes are not available for lunch but only for dinner. That's the bad part. We had no way of knowing that beforehand. Howeverrrrr, the staff and service we got were oh-so-good, they really helped us get something even though they didn't have the options we planned on. They took good care of us and made us feel goos.
The restaurant was quite average. The food and service were rated 3 stars, while the ambiance was 3.75 stars. The prices for the food were higher than expected, but that seems to be common for waterfront properties. The food at the poolside bar at Point Grace was much better quality and more affordable. Dining at The Grill was disappointing, despite the oceanfront seating. There was a constant stream of people passing by to use the showers, which was a bit of a buzzkill. The pizza and NY strip we ordered were just okay.
It was okay. Very simple breakfast buffet for approx. $40 pp and I don't think the money is worth it.
Rose Marie was fabulous! Very nice lunch vegan bowl, cheeseburger and sushi
