Relish Bakery Sandwich Shop

One of the best places in ptown for takeout food! Everything is delicious and the staff is really nice! I get breakfast there every morning!

There’s a reason this place is always busy. They have the best sandwiches on the Cape for breakfast and lunch! And the pastries are amazing. The prices are very good for what you get and it’s a good experience. The only downside for me is that most of the staff doesn’t speak English well (they seem to be maybe Russian? , so it’s near impossible to modify for any dietary restrictions or preferences. Granted, I just avoided items with potential to contain my restrictions when I realized this, so I’m not sure if trying harder would have produced someone with more understanding, but wanted to warn in case anyone has more serious/common allergies than mine.

This place is the best! Year after year we go to Ptown and seek out Relish! Best pastries, amazing chocolate and cookies!

UPDATE: After five years, I finally returned to Provincetown and Relish Bakery, and they did not disappoint! This time, my husband had the Roasted Chicken Breast on Ciabatta, while I enjoyed the Italian sandwich on Ciabatta, and of course, we couldn't resist getting two servings of gazpacho. I even got a third serving for a friend, who loved it and praised it after spending some time at the Boat Slip pool enjoying the famous Rum Punches. I really love this sandwich shop because the team there crafts simple yet incredibly tasty food. I haven't had the chance to try their breakfast offerings, but I definitely plan to on my next visit—hopefully sooner than in five years! The counter staff member, Plamena, was absolutely delightful.
