Joe Vera's Mexican - Provo

Just discovered how awesome this place is! The food is delicious (LOVE their chips and salsa) and the wait staff is so friendly and helpful

We came here for my birthday the other night and we had quite a few issues. First, when we walked in, the building smelt like sewage. We would have chosen somewhere else, but we already had people meeting us here. Second, we were out of water for most of our meal. It wasn't until right before we left that we finally got refills. Finally, my order was prepared incorrectly and when brought up to the server, he made no effort to remedy the issue. We used to love eating here, but it is not the same Joe Vera's of the past.

It was fine. There were four of us, we all thought the food was ok. It was our 2nd or 3rd time there. I mean it's a clean place, with nice servers. Go check it out once or twice. More bean options would be good, like black, pinto, borracho, instead of only refried.

Food was great and we were served very quickly. Way too much food for us to eat in one sitting so we had to take a lot of it home in to-to boxes.

Jose was a wonderful server. The food was delicious, especially the pork, and I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.
