Lovebirds Hot Chicken - Provo

I decided to give it another chance today and ordered the chicken nuggets and scones. The scones were good once again, but the chicken was terrible. It had a strange smell and tasted like it had been precooked, reheated, and reheated again multiple times. I couldn't even finish it and ended up throwing it away. If you're looking for fresh and delicious chicken, this is not the place to go.

Fun atmosphere and great music. Chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets are really moist and flavorful.Waffle fries are seasoned well, and the fried pickles are off the charts. The real show stopper is the scones. I ordered more scones to go. They're that good. The soda selection is a fun bonus.

Nothing terribly wrong or weird, but overall disappointing given how many great options are in the area for hot chicken sandwiches. Fried pickles were good. Scones were really tasty but the honey sauce that came with them had a funky taste to it. On decor, some things felt really nice (super comfy seats) but it also felt kind of worn down inside too.

The Nashville chicken sandwich at this restaurant is delicious, especially with their homemade pickles that make it stand out. The fried pickles are also tasty. However, the dipping sauces are too sweet and not very good. I would not recommend the loaded fries, as the bacon is not great and the toppings only cover a small portion of the top layer, leaving the rest of the fries plain. The banana pudding could be improved with a layer of cookies on the bottom like the ones on top. Additionally, the beer listed on the menu was not available due to a suspension by the state.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The chicken sandwich was exceptional - perfectly balanced with a crispy coating, flavorful spice, delicious sauce, and good slaw. The pickles were a nice touch as well. Don't forget to try the scones - they're amazing. I also saw someone order the banana pudding, which wasn't on the menu but looked fantastic. They also have a hot sandwich challenge available for those feeling adventurous.
