Les Remparts - Prudhomat

Called on spec as we were passing around lunch time. We were offered a table outside under a shade with lovely views over the countryside. We opted for pizza as we had eaten a lot of rich local meals and they were excellent with thin...crispy base and lots of quality toppings. Staff were polite and efficient .

My husband and I had the three course menu du jour 16:50 euros it was tastfully presented and each course was excellent. The staff were 'on their toes ' and with a pleasant smile at all times.

Eating on the terrasse, below the castle of Castelnau, overlooking the Dordogne valley, is a real treat! Pizzas and mixed salads are excellent and the service very friendly.

Very friendly staff, always a pleasure to enjoy the view from the terrace. the menu has many choices and you can have a large meal or a small one.

A fantastic location at the foot of the castle, magnificent sunset and a great little play area so that the children can walk around while enjoying their meal. eating is very good, we ate from the 25 Euro Set menu that everyone enjoyed....You have a children's menu, chicken nuggets, burgers, chips. we had to ask the burger to be cooked a little more because he was very rare, but that is common in France. overall a pleasant experience and we will definitely be back.
