We are so happy we decided to splurge here definitely the best dinner we've had on the Big Island. And we've been looking!! Incredibly delicious food, great knowledgeable service and stunning location. Impressive wine list is also always appreciated. Highly recommend!

Speechless, it was truly fabulous.... Seriously exquisite food (we did the chef's tasting menu— what a lovely way to enjoy food and company) gentle aesthetic atmosphere and a waiter that made us feel like we knew him from somewhere (the whole service team was so good I hesitate to call it service— more like very gracious hosting). If life is good to us, we'll be back. ??

I live on the Big Island fulltime and have dined at Canoe House several times. The food, service and atmosphere are truly outstanding. However, with the recent price increases, Canoe House is now one of the most expensive restaurants on the Big Island and they do not offer any type of kama'aina discounts.

Wonderful dinner to celebrate an event. Amazing and friendly service. Aulike was exceptional. We ordered the chefs meal on her recommendation. We were not disappointed. Thank you, Aulike! The pacing of the meal was just right. Will definitely come again and will request to sit at Aulike's section.

My kids called ahead of time to pay for dessert for their dad's birthday celebration. The restaurant did not comply with this simple request. We called back the next to alert them of this error, gave a call back number and still haven't heard from them. For such a nice restaurant that has a high service model, you should expect a simple request like this to be filled. Or at a minimum call us to let us know it's not possible.
