Satsanga - Puducherry

Prawn was fine, it could have been better and the ambience and the garden is nice enjoying a glass of beer and food is good, the chicken fried rice was good, the Mac cheese order was not boiled the pasta was not yet cooked

Great service and food.. They didn't serve us water until we asked for the food for water... no cutlery until we asked... Food taste and portion was not worth the price.. not hygienic the place was dusty and had old stained table clothing and seat covers. will not visit again..

My understanding is that Satsanga was formerly good and was one of the few places to serve a more authentic French dishes in White Town that was less creole than the other places. But the place seems like he fell in trouble and needs a heavy facelift. We went to Christmas evening and ordered a few starters from their Christmas special menu. It was at 6:00 in the evening, and we were only occupied the second table, but where was informed one of the days special was already finished. Good French food ... good service ... was sad though because the place is under renovation and the garden is gone temporarily.. please keep the place tidy though, hope it doesn’t lose its quality! Good memories over the years at this restaurant .. always visit when in Pondy...

Actually its 4.5 stars for the food but have given 4 stars only because there is no air conditioned space in the restaurant and as such its a little stuffy
