A beautiful day. eating is good (no great change in the menu although) service is professional place is beautiful, old Canarian house, garden terrace (outside but could be cold) or inside. I recommend reservation.
I wanted to book this restaurant last year when we were here, based on reviews, they were closed for a few weeks, so booked by the UK to make sure we can get on a Saturday night. 15 minutes taxi ride from botanico. as charming as it is in the pictures, in which did rather tatty, we sat on a kind of terrace with views of a small, not well maintained garden. paper napkins, very informative, put us on a table near the servier station that we asked to be moved, waitress did this, but she was especially cool and brusque, all night. husband had a precursor of filled courgettes, which was good, but bland and too much sauce, decent brot and bland dips. menu concentrates on pork, I had what was counted as pork from the bone, had my man lamming shoulder, again from the bone, over sweet maische. we ordered a page of veg that seemed to confuse the waitress when she asked us if it was salat that we wanted, no veg. when the dishes came up my 3 diamantly shaped fatty tissue, I had to check my glasses on whether there was any flesh at all, precious little as it turned out. huge chip basket and a piece ratatouille, that was the fresh veg. the court of my man looked like a brewed curry on a wallpaper paste that looked maic. nought from 10 for the presentation, saw more like school dinner in the 70s. the waitress scrubbed off when she saw the look of our faces. I was quite hungry when I commanded and tried bravely to recognize the flesh, ' failed, got a crispy meat that could remove a fat smear on the top of my stomach, which could only remove a toothbrush. my man sorted by his, what as, lamming shoulder, insecure what it was as no bone to identify it, along with no taste! the veg had as much oil as actual veg and tasted suspicious as it could come from a batchor. the waitress appeared with the cursor all that is good here, told her that it was quite fat and we had an eye rolling and showed on her ribs with a statement to us as if we were half-season that this is special cut, comes from ripening." we think that a true menu description for those of them that should have been dear narrow and decided to get us a quick ride." insecure when we went to the same place as the other reviewers, as this was totally dirty in a counter where there are many excellent restaurants. only positiw is to say it is quite cheap eating when the price of the exaggerating factor is.
So glad we chose to go here, the food was lovely although like other reviews the cornflake chicken didn’t really work for us but all of the other dishes were lovely. Our waitress was fantastic, friendly, helpful and really help us make great choices of...food and sherry. Really lovely night out all round!
Having visited this restaurant for a friends birthday bash, we went with two other couples for lunch. It had been recommended by others as a good place to eat. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was super and the food was excellent. An old canary...house converted into a restaurant with style. The staff were attentive, and the chefs menu was really good. We all enjoyed the meal and will go again.
