This is only open for four months and they obviously still find their feet. The food was excellent, the waiter was charming like the owners we met later in the evening. Our choice of white wine was limited to the only bottle that was actually cooled, but it was very pleasant. My husband ordered river fish and waiter to explain what kind of fish it was, fetched his phone and produced a photo of a man with a big catfish we thought was an ingenious way to get over the language barrier. Wouldn't have a problem recommending this restaurant for dinner.
The thunderstorms forced us back from the case to our hotel, whose food we cost and did not like us. After we removed our wet clothes and warmed up with a good warm shower, we felt fit enough to take our first tent gastronomic steps around the neighborhood, about 600 meters north of the city center, After just about 100 meters on the opposite side of the road, we came over this pretentiously named restaurant, after looking at the menu, we decided to rest our tired legs and fill I am not sure what category the young boy who served us will eventually evolve, but he was educatable and required only 3 visits in the kitchen to come with the prescribed ratio of ice to water to ensure the right temperature until our food was ready. We shared two dishes: the first one a chewy and freshly prepared display of these huge raviolis starting with the letter S that I never came across. It was served with a delicious Bolognese sauce, subtle and not too spicy. The 2nd was a house speciality with a rather overdried carving of chicken breast accompanied by Spanish potatoes, apparently a version of the tuber, in which a line of curry and garlic did little to change the overwhelming taste of butte and cream. No feeling like a desert, we just ordered an expresso and cappuccino to say that there is no more coffee in the restaurant. I advised him to make a quick trip to the border and to assure him that there is a terrible amount of coffee in Brazil. When he found out that soon afterwards, he gave me 10% of the total value of the helpful and entertaining information I had provided during my visit,
The food is very good. The beef in pepper sauce was excellent. The pizza was also well prepared (although the base was too thick). The personel is very attentive and helpful. If you don't speak Spanish, don't worry. The interior is a bit too easy, but the climate is very good. Very recommended for good food!
For those who are in the Esturion or Amerian is a good choice. just 2 or 3 blocks away from these beautiful hotels, is a modern small bistro with a Speto corrido (brasilian bbq, which always come to you until you give up) barbecue that knocks you out!! Quiet environment, great service, new place, hardly 1 1/2 month since opening. One thing I can say: I know my flesh, and would not have it for the fact that I had to go (will come back definately) I would have gone to Brasas to finish what I started! My children had simple homemade ravioli (you could just say by watching them) and my wife rolled up a fish fillet, sealed and baked with some curry-based Chinese veggies that tasted great. I was in the expensive downtown of Parrilas or Grills and waiting times were only discouraging. Visit Brasas, If you are not nearby, it is worth the trip.
We came across this restaurant near to our hotel. We were impressed by the new spacious and clean layout. The big windows and seating arrangement were pleasing. Our host waiter was thoroughly engaging. He managed our lack of Spanish language easily and was particularly helpful in making recommendations from the menu. We thankfully followed his recommendation for the steak which was cooked perfectly to our instructions. The steak was accompanied by an arugula salad. We finished with a delicious passion fruit mousse which was easily big enough for two people. The service was very friendly and yet professional without being overbearing. While they may not yet be fine dining, they offer a high quality dinner in a warm and relaxed atmosphere at a reasonable price
