Pizzeria Pulcinella - Puerto Limon

This is the best pizzeria in Puerto Viejo, hands down! The salads and desserts were also delicious. The service was very friendly and funny!

We dined at Pulcinella twice and were impressed by the excellent food and service both times. This authentic Italian restaurant is owned and operated by an Italian couple who prepare all the dishes themselves. The wood-fired pizzas are made with Italian ingredients and skill. I highly recommend trying the rucola and prosciutto focaccia (pictured), along with some wine, and saving room for the chocolate mousse. Pulcinella was definitely the best dining experience we had in Puerto Viejo.

The pizza at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! There are many options available with fresh ingredients and imported meat. The service was friendly and attentive. I definitely plan on returning to try the pasta dish. I was disappointed that I was too full to try the tiramisu, but I will make sure to save room for it next time.

Just go. The pasta is always prepared perfectly. My favorite at the moment is the red sauce pasta with mussels- it’s slightly spicy and I cannot get enough of it. The carbonara has been delicious as well. My boyfriend LOVED their focaccia with anchovies. Tiramisu...is amazing as well. Our server Leo was great and friendly. I believe, one of the owners is Victoria and she was also super helpful. Looking forward to our next meal.
