Cafe Andres - Puerto Natales

Cafe Andres was such a jewel discovered in Puerto Natales! We came from our 5 days W Trek in Patagonia and the dishes prepared by Andres were exactly what we needed to satisfy our exhaustion and our hunger. Andres himself is incredibly gracious, speak Spanish slowly and conscious, as he knew we did not know the language. He was also extremely attentive and to boot, cooked the dishes for ourselves! Definitely order one of the seafood plates as this is what Andres is known for. Unfortunately, his restaurant has been negatively affected by COVID in recent years, but as the trip retrieves, please pay him and his wonderful restaurant a visit!

What a surprise! We happened this place by chance, no one was there. We entered anyway and were welcomed openly by the owner? the supernice was, gave us a welcome drink and smiled everywhere. It is definitely not a high-class restaurant when it comes to the interior, it is even a bit strange, but somehow very authentic we loved it... We ordered salad, fish and chicken and the guy ran into the kitchen and it seems he prepared everything alone. Other guests started entering and he still managed to switch between kitchen, welcome drinks and serve our food. And the FOOD WAS YUMMY! The Chileno salad was very balanced, the fish on point, the potatoes crispy and the chicken great. Recommended!

Nice and typical place to eat. Andres is a perfect host. Good portions and everything is homemade. Far away from tourist expensive places, we very recomend this restaurant.

Very warm attention, attended by the same owner, a very pleasant moment and fun. The food? Good lord.

The best centolla I've eaten... preparations at the moment, fast and attended by your owner. A varied and rich menu, very suitable time for tourists. Very nice Don Andrés. I only suggest you repair the ladies' room. If you are looking for a different experience and a pleasant moment should go through here.
