Don Julio Bar & Grill - Puerto Peñasco

¡Este lugar tiene la mejor comida mexicana en Rocky Point! El guacamole mexicano es delicioso, muy fresco y sabroso. ¡Las enchiladas de pollo fueron increíbles, con una salsa roja muy sabrosa! ¡Los tacos de carne fueron increíbles, con carne muy sabrosa y conchas crujientes! ¡Todo esto mientras disfrutas de una de las mejores vistas al mar en el mercado de pescado! ¡Definitivamente volveré!

El anfitrión/camarero era muy amable. Ella tenía un pescado blanco relleno de camarones envuelto en tocino y bañado en una salsa cremosa y mantecosa. ¡Mucha comida! Yo pedí los clásicos Huevos Rancheros. La salsa tenía un sabor excelente. El lugar estaba limpio.

¡La comida estuvo excelente! Pedimos la chimichanga de carne de res y las enchiladas de queso. ¡Las chips, el guacamole y la salsa también estuvieron excelentes! Fuimos alrededor de la 1pm y no había nadie allí. Una vista genial del agua desde arriba. No comimos adentro, pero el aire acondicionado estaba a todo lo que daba si buscas un lugar fresco para comer.

There isn't another restaurant in town that's located in such a beautiful building. The interior is spacious and has tons of Mexican charm. My favorite iteration closed about 5 years ago. They specialized in Mexican/Santa Fe style dishes and I visited at least once a week.After that, under the owner of Mar Blue, the restaurant was badly run and eating there was an unpleasant nightmare.I believe there's new management and a new owner now. The service, atmosphere and food reflect the change.They have a large mostly Mexican menu and every dish I've tried has been very good. My favorite is the chilis rellenos con camaron.Great for families or a romantic evening, you'll fall in love with this charming restaurant. They also have a small outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. It's lovely!

Went on 8/22 and had the bacon wrapped shrimp. I don't know what was wrong with them but it was horrible and I couldn't stand it. My friend had the flounder wrapped shrimp and that was fine. The server and manager only made it worse. This was my first bad meal in Puerto Pensaco. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
