They offer Osso Buco with veal, lamb or pork shank; I opted for the traditional veal. The dish came not with the smaller cross cut shank found in most markets, but rather the full shank. It was served with a very good sauce. Rather than pasta, I asked for vegetables to accompany it. I found it very good, especially in light of the price of 150 pesos (about $12.50). My companion had the lobster that was comparable to other restaurants but at a very good price! Service was excellent, although it was not very crowded on the evening we went.
We stay in the marina area every year and this is the first time we ate in this restaurant. It will defiantly not be the last. We had one of the best meals we have ever had in PV. My husband had the special and I had the filet Mignon MMMMM good The special included soup or salad, fish or chicken with ravioli. and dessert. 3 drinks and bill was only 510 pesos. We both were very full and satisfied. Cant wait to take my parents next week.
I've been looking for quite some time to visit this place as it advertises veal and lamb osso buko and chamorro (pork shanks) and wasn't disapointed on my visit there. Tortilla soup was quite good but chamorro I ordered was excelent. Prepared to perfection juicy shank was above expectation. My wife ordered special for $190 pesos. It included mahi-mahi served with 4 tasty raviolies. She enjoyed her meal which included very good chocolate cake (which she shared with me) and a salad. This was followed by a cup of good cofee. The owner was very friendly and the waiter's service was perfect. I am looking forward to next opportunity to visit this place to try veal osso buko this time. I am glad I haven't red some previous reviews of this place otherwise I would have missed it.
Waitstaff was very nice, but the food was pretty disappointing. The langostino (lobster) was good but tiny. The mahi was overcooked. Overall, just really blah
Tired of tourist food? Want something different? Authentic Italian, not Olive Garden fake-Italian? See Luigi at the Gazebo on Marina Vallarta for an elegant dinner. The portions are small, so have an appetizer too. Fantastic meal.
