They have not worked out their finances so that they only take cash in the...morning so that they can buy the ingredients for later on the day, but they have a sign that they accept credit cards at the front door. There is a tiny sign inside (if you even go in) that says only cash. The waitress was nice enough, but there is no reason to ever waste your time here with any other nearby options. You're much better, even with the street tacos.
This is a charming, quiet little restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. It’s two-story, and we suggest making a reservation for the second floor. There’s no view but it’s more intimate. We started with the crispy calamari which was very lightly breaded and nicely seasoned and the...sopa Azteca. We thought the soup was a bit bland and added a couple drops of their hot sauce, which made it perfect. Our server stressed that the sauce is very hot — this is true — be careful! Our two entrees were great. My husband ordered the cilantro shrimp, and I had the shrimp enchiladas — we loved both. In addition to great food, the staff was terrific and there was pleasant background music provided by a guitar player with a very nice voice.
Glad we stopped here to eat dinner. Service was great the right mix of checking on us but not to much and not to little. The food was great. Really well seasoned, tender, cooked well, and right portion. Check this restaurant out if your looking for something to eat and cannot decide where to go.
The food at this restaurant is very tasty and better than advertised what a great experience and I'm glad I went. I ordered the sticky spare ribs (which were huge, 3 in total), some wine and shrimp with Arabic rice. The service was great and there was even live music from a gentleman who was singing and playing the guitar. His voice was perfect for the atmosphere. You can choose from 3 levels to sit, choose the top for the view. Highly recommend this place!! The images of menus online are older as some items are no longer listed but most everything is delicious to be honest
Came wandering through town looking for coffee and breakfast on a Sunday morning. We stumbled upon Layla’s and were very happy! Enjoyed their coffee and Rancherito’s, along with their chipotle and green salsas. So yummy!
