Xian Wei - Puerto Vallarta

I was a bit concerned when I first walked in the place that it was going to be very mediocre because it's definitely not a good looking place. however, the food was good, the portions were generous, and the price was cheap. Would have been five stars if the place was a bit cleaner, it just seemed dirty.

I love this place orange chicken on white Rice my favorite. Other traditional favorites Fried rice or noodles or white Rice I or 2 or 3 items take out or in I'm there daily

I didn't really like it. The orange chicken was off. The flour was more dominant than the chicken.

We here years ago when it first opened and the gentleman that owned it was friendly and the food was good. He made sure things were fresh and served with smile. Do not know if it has changed to new ownership, but gone is the friendly service and the good meals. We had a similar compliant last time we went but thought we would give it another try to see if they were just having a bad day. There is now a lady at the counter and she has ZERO customer service skills. She makes you feel like she doing you a big favor serving you [just like last time we were there]. I even asked for a receipt and she told me they did not have a paper receipt. The food was ample and OK. It would have been better is the chicken was at least warm. The ribs were dry at best. So sad to see a place go from a regular outing to off our list.

We 1st started coming here when they 1st open years ago. There used to be a gentleman that was at the front end and was great with customer interaction. This time there was a lady. She got the job done, but made you feel like she was doing you a favor. Just not a good customer interaction for a place with good food. They had a HOT chicken so we asked for a sample before buying, no sample here any more, so we avoided it. Bought the chicken and broccoli and the sweet and sour chicken. Both were good with a good helping of rice and noodles. Also bought the ribs. They were OK, but over done and tough. Stay with the chicken, New Surprise they had a fee for the bathroom???
