Very good pizza. We have ordered two different ones and both of was excellent. But, we was so sad for Bella. She deserve a better way to live .
Opinión While the salad was good, it was certainly not amazing, as one might expect of a basic $16 ensalada mixte. Many many people have already reviewed the food here. And while it is very good, it 's more important to note the low quality of life the restaurant is providing for their horse and her goat companion. Anytime I have visited the restaurant, including during the day, I have seen Bella the horse alone in her small 2 x 2 square meter enclosure. Her goat companion is kept outside of Bella 's stall, alone in his own tiny stall, tethered with a short rope around his neck! This makes it impossible for horse and goat to truly share space or affection with each other (and yes, I have seen both Bella and the goat strain to touch and lick each other, clearly with enthusiasm and love). The rope also constrains the goat from moving more than 6 feet away from his and Bella 's stalls, forcing him to urinate and defecate exactly where they eat, live and sleep. There was also no water provided for either animal while I was there last. The goat had long kicked over his flimsy bucket of water and I could not find any evidence of a water bowl for Bella. The restaurant is beautiful and charming and also expensive. It is highly regarded, often as the finest pizzeria on the Caribbean Coast, and is usually crowded. Surely what with all of their success, they could afford to create better living conditions for this phenomenal pair of animals. The two stalls are surrounded by a large expanse of green lawn. May I suggest that this could easily be fenced off to provide some freedom of movement, space and joy to the animals. A lot of thought, care and money was clearly put into creating this very special dining space. It 's a terrible shame to fall short on creating just as special a spot for Bella the horse and her goat companion. Animals feel just as much as humans do and it is up to us to respect, love and Care for them as much as we do for our human families.
Excellent pizza, with a wide range of options. We tried 3 different ones over a few visits and liked them all. The bruscetta was heavenly; the chef came to apologize that they were out of bread so he made it with focaccia, and it was absolutely lovely. It had a sweet touch, maybe balsamic vinegar? Our dinner companions shared a HUGE appetizer salad, more than enough for 2 people. And the fresh lemonade is wonderful.
Four of us went to this quaint restaurant. Although pizza is a specialty baked in an fire wood oven, we opted for a tossed salad, (mixta e salads) charcuterie board and dessert. The charcuterie was beautifully presented with a mix of hard and cream cheeses, thinly sliced meats, eggplant, olives, carrots, raisins, walnuts. The star attraction was the unripened mozarella in the centre of the board. The freshly baked fresh and with a drizzle of garlic oil was divine. The dessert shared by two was a pastry concoction of Nutella, ricotta cheese and honey drizzle. Mmmmm With one beer, soda water and auga por la mėsa, the bill with a customary 10 percent tip came to $100US. At first glance, it may seem expensive but for the quality taste and experience, it was well worth it.
