The Puhoi General Store

This is not a swanky restaurant but meals were tasy and LARGE and the bonus was that you could sit outside and watch the world go by.  The Puhoi locals are the friendliest of people and you can find out so much about this Bohemian settlement from the people who just stop to chat. Nic and his staff couldn,t have been nicer.

The general store is well stocked, and the girl makes yummy fresh coffee. Even sells postcards, and there is a postbox outside. There were tables and chairs outside to sit and drink your coffees, eat some snacks or just gather with friends. It's located across the road from the river wits seating, and also there is a cute little library.

Puhoi was originally established in 1868 by immigrants from Bohemia whose names adorn many of the road signs

Lovely store. They do a mean oyster and chips and scallops and chips. Very friendly service

An eclectic general store with everything including good coffee to plants and burgers. The chips and fresh oysters are only $10. Nice place to be on a sunny winters day
