I miss the delicious multigrain sourdough breads and my absolute favourite, the chocolate croissant. Being from Europe, I enjoyed all the products coming from France, Italy, Greece! Also, they always have new selection of seasonal products, limited time yummy cakes, you can't be bored when you step in that shop. I sometimes went there just for a hot chocolate and a chat, as you are always feel welcome there. True, the wait is sometimes a thing at Albert's, but it's mostly because the staff is over friendly and most of the customers like myself come often.
Nice little bakery/cafe. Great selection of yummy bread perfect for daily breakfast, their cakes and pastries are amazing too. Various range of dips and cheeses on the fridge are great addition to the store. Dips are to die for, you can even tried a few in display with their bread before decided what to buy, this can make your decision a lot harder though because you ended up buying everythingg lolll. Never go wrong to enjoy cozy atmosphere while sitting down with a cup of tea (plus cake/scones) on the weekend. What a day!
Love the coffee food the in cabinet is incredible, would highly recommend, lots of deli type foods and ingredients and lots of international foods
Alberts Kitchen is the gem of Pukekohe! Their eclairs, pastries, croissants, freshly baked breads are all to die for. I love their refrigerated section with cheeses, freshly made dips, pizza bases and so much more. And their selection of speciality food is incredible, regularly saves me a trip to Sabato or Farro and is a great place to buy presents. Albert's Kitchen is a must for anyone in, or visiting, Pukekohe.
This place is literally TO DIE FOR. I have an obsession with their eclairs and they make the BEST coffee in town. Reasonably priced. The staff are extremely friendly.Downfall- the only times I can pop into this place is when I have my morning tea breaks, which is approx 10-15mins long. When doing my order, I have to mentally prepare myself to WAIT my full break...even when there is no one in there or when other people have already been served. The staff are so nice that they talk to the customers like they are friends. They don't really worry about rushed people like myself and possibly see me as the grumpy desperate customer haha. It's actually a great thing for them but a con for this lone customer. Let me tell you though......it's worth the wait
