Shrimp Shack - Punaluu

After searching for a restaurant that served coconut shrimp, we stumbled upon this hidden gem on the north shore of Hawaii. It was well worth the wait! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. A sign at the entrance claims it serves good food, not fast food, and that definitely proved to be true. The friendly owner took our orders and even took the time to chat with us. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was fantastic and I will definitely be returning.

The restaurant has amazing food with a stunning view during lunchtime! I ordered the garlic shrimp and my husband had the popcorn shrimp, both were some of the best shrimp we've ever had. There's a small mart nearby where you can grab drinks, we recommend trying the Hawaiian sun ones as they pair nicely with the food.

Amazing food and fantastic service overlooking the stunning Oahu coast. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of ‘surf and surf’ (spicy mahi mahi and hot shrimp) and spicy garlic shrimp. Convenient street parking in front of the food truck and ample seating on both sides of the road. Highly recommend stopping by for lunch if you're in the area.

Amazing Shrimp Shack! We ordered the coconut shrimp, surf and surf, NY steak, popcorn shrimp and crab cakes… ALL the food was soo amazing! The garlic butter over the rice was an added yummy surprise! Kona float also super good and kids loved all their tropical floats! Definitely stop at the yellow Shrimp Shack sign!

BEST SHRIMP ON THE ISLAND! And the muscles were to die for. I highly recommend eating here! Soooooo good.
