The guy we assumed was in charge of the dining room came to remove menus before orders had been taken; the ditzy waitress didn't know how to open a bottle of wine; main courses arrived before starters, some people in our group of 10 hadn't...even received a drink when others had their desserts arriving. In addition, the waitress didn't know the names of the meals she finally delivered and often, they didn't match the description on the menu. Lovely people but total chaos and very average food that is overpriced for the area.
Wife and I ate here twice in the two days we were here in puno. Very diverse menu with lots of pizza varieties. Pros- best WiFi we had in 12 days in Peru based on multiple areas by far, prices were great which was pretty...common place to Peru in general, friendly staff...facilities were better than most banos we dealt with in the country...recepticals for charging stuff if you need to, good happy hour prices if you’re into getting a few cheap drinks, pretty much nothing but American music, they take visa as well Cons- food service was a little slow but we were never in a hurry so we didn’t care
The pizza was amazing and had so many possibilities! They are fired wood and the dough was perfect and not too thick! They offered Happy Hour Drinks (2 for 20), which was very valuable!
Our guide recommended this restaurant as it has a good prix fixe menu and has a very good local ethnic dance and music show.! Great! The food was tasty ( what is it with all the Italian and pizza dishes all over South America? ) and I had a nice local meat dish, with a soup starter and dessert. We all ordered the Guinea pig to try as an appie ( expensive!) and we all didn't care for it ( not much meat, very oily, and you could chew the skin for days it was that thick). The show was very good ( wow, talk about energetic dancing!) and the music was also good. We left as they were performing the Vegas style ending with carnival type costumes. Tons of foreign tourists there so you get the vibe. Go for the show!
