La Estancia Grill E.I.R.L - Puno

We had dinner at La Estancia and it was great. It is perfect, not touristy no-nonsense place serving delicious food. It was mostly local crowd, the staff was extremely nice and helpful (but not too much) and it was reasonably priced. Be sure to try their Pisco Sour!

This place was a fantastic find. About 50 soles for a huge and delicious mixed grill for two...our favourite parradilla in 3 months in South America. Good selection of sauces and relishes to accompany the meals. Lots of cheaper options too. Relaxed place... TV was on when we were there, for example. It was a real treat, especially after a month of very basic and bland food in Bolivia! Try the vino caliente, especially if you like European mulled wine or glühwein. Highly recommended place.

Not even mediocre food, absolutely nothing to impress in any terms... However you may still be gobsmacked... by the awful service!!! Avoid.

Can’t recommend strongly enough! I ordered the Alpaca streak, it came with chips and salad. Portion size was great, if a little too much but I still managed to finish! If you’re around Puno, be sure to pay this place a visit.

I had a grilled beef with fried potato chips, I had asked for the salad to be removed. It was too much food for me, but very tasty and juicy grilled beef. My three friends were also happy with their choices. The restaurant's Pisco Sour was sweeter than normal, but also very good!
